Thanks so much to everyone who danced, sang and got sweaty with us on Saturday night. We had an amazing time and hope to have a hoe down with you all again soon.

Many thanks to everyone who braved the cold last night at the Botanic Gardens gig. The clouds disappeared and the wind stopped blowing just as things kicked off, it’s as close to summer as Wellington will get!
We had an absolute blast up on stage, and will have a few videos of it online in the coming future…
And if you feel like camping out under the stars, come on up to the Organic River Festival in Levin on Jan 30th, we will be there party-ing up a storm.
AND, we are also opening for Little Bushman Feb 28th in Lower Hutt. It’s outside the Dowse gallery, really looking forward to that one. But more to come later…

Hello family, friends, fans and Fidel Castro,
We’re really excited about our upcoming Wellington and Auckland shows, and to show how much we’ve appreciated your support in the past year we’re not only giving you an easy way to get half price entry, but you’ll also go in to the draw to win a bunch of sweet swagger.
The gigs you can get excited over are:
Wellington: Friday November 20th @ Bar Bodega
We’re playing with our friends The Volunteers and Th. Cherry Bombs. This will be our last big electric show in Welly for the year so come down and celebrate the end of exams/the end of the year/enjoy your life.
Auckland: Saturday November 28th @ The Kings Arms
We’re heading back up north to party in the big smoke. Chris Cope, Solomon and Phil Austen & The Bayonets will be creating an amazing evening of music with us, and as always there will be some wicked drink specials to help you through the night. This will be our final gig in Auckland for 2009, so come down and dance your socks off all night long.

Hi everyone,
Whilst our email newsletter and gig guides said we were playing Good Morning on the 19th of November we’ve had to postpone the show due to scheduling conflicts. We’ll be sure to make it well known when we venture back to TV1’s studios again. Don’t forget to tell yer mum.

This weekend the crowe are running away to a little country retreat. There will be cows, sheep and a&p shows but most importantly a lot of work towards exciting and new songs. Yes please.

Can you call two shows a tour? Probably not, but we will.
Last weekend we were fortunate enough to get on the road with our good friends Harbour City Electric playing both Auckland and Napier shows. Both shows were a ton of fun and we really appreciated the efforts of everyone who came out to watch us, some of you even forfeiting the chance to watch two grown men punch each other in the face. We were stoked we could play with the HCE boys and their company was second to none.
We had some added excitement driving back from Napier on Sunday when we pulled up to a few cars on the side of the road and had a girl who was nearly in tears tell us that there as a gunman shooting at a cop. This later turned out to be David Bourke who was rampaging around the Norsewood area shooting up a storm.
We thought we’d avoid this drama by taking a back road, but mistakenly took a wrong turn and drove down a road which landed us right in the middle of the crime scene with abandoned cars and police littering the area. Luckily for us, the slow crowe has reverse. Seriously, she does. We managed to quickly turn around and get to safer grounds.
It took a ton of cops and 2 days to find Bourke who was only 500 meters down the road in the local golf club toilets. Given Nick and I have bladders the sizes of walnuts, it’s nothing short of a miracle that we didn’t end up stopping to piss in at the golf club and run in to a very scary naughty naughty bad man.
What have we learnt here? Get out of town for the weekend. Interesting stuff is always bound to happen.

Hey our beloved lovers,
Although the reputable website www.mercurycrowe.com reported that the crowe are playing tomorrow night there’s a small chance it was wrong. Things fell through with the Thurs the 24th gig so we’re very sorry we won’t be hitting Bodega for a little while longer.
On the positive side of things, our EPK is finished and you need to go have a perve at it on our youtube channel. We’ve spent a long time on this and hopefully it gives you a bit more of an insight on how and why we approached our recent album as well as where we’re going.
peace
